At Castlereagh School we deliver the ASDAN Preparing for Adulthood Programs. Each program provides a real-life context to reward achievement and foster the personal, social and work-related abilities of all students by focusing on a person-centred planning approach.
ASDAN programs acknowledge and celebrate what our students achieve. They provide an opportunity for all of our students Year 7 to 12 to develop life, personal, social and work skills to enhance their confidence and support their aspirations. On completion of each module, students receive an International certificate in recognition of their achievement and take home their learning portfolio to share with family and friends.
Our ASDAN programs are Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) endorsed programs, providing accreditation towards a student’s Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement (WASSA).
Castlereagh School is the home of the ASDAN WA State Coordinator and Moderator, Jacqueline Burns, Principal, and the ASDAN WA Support Officer Vanessa Tan. Please email ASDANWA@education.wa.eu.au if you are interested in accessing the ASDAN programs in Western Australia.
