School Council

Castlereagh School has an active School Council comprising of parents and staff.  Our Council Members are responsible for the allocation of funding to projects, staff and resources that will best meet the needs of your family, your child, staff and the community. Council members are trained to have a good understanding of our school and how it operates.  Members are involved and consulted on matters relating to school, and have a responsibility to scrutinize the policies, finances and documents presented to them. As a member of a group of interested people who are all here for Castlereagh School, members get to understand the mechanics of the school and hear firsthand about what is happening.

Our School Council is made up of three parents, two staff and the school principal; in 2025 we meet once a term.

Opportunities arise for you to join our school council as a member or at our Annual General Meeting and we look forward to seeing you.
