At Castlereagh School, our students are our top priority and as such, we work hard to provide a safe, happy and engaging education. For this to occur, students require a strong foundation on which to build upon including regular attendance, positive health habits, a good night’s sleep and any specific medical plans and medication required.
Regular attendance is vital as it affects your child’s learning and their attitude to learning. Consistency of learning is one of our most effective tools in supporting your child.
Parents are required to contact the school on the day of absence and provide a reason for their child’s absence. This can be done by emailing or sending a message via the Seesaw app to your classroom teacher or by phoning or emailing the front office. If the school has not received a notification of absence by 10.30am each day, an SMS message will be sent for your response.
