Our staff are our greatest resource, they are highly trained, able to provide a personalised curriculum for our students and are responsive to the needs of individual children.
The Castlereagh School Team is committed, experienced and well qualified to support every student at our school. They are dedicated to providing a high quality education for all students and we ensure that each student is at the centre of everything we do.
All class based staff are specially trained in the education of students with complex communication and learning needs, and support students with a co-regulation approach. Our high staff to student ratio enables our expert staff to provide students with rigorous, meaningful and engaging experiences; which encourages every student to learn and grow.
We have a health centre on site with two enrolled nurses to support students with their health and medical needs. Swimming instructors design and implement individual swimming programs for all students in our heated swimming centre.
Your child’s service providers such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, behaviour support therapists and physiotherapists are welcomed to become part of our team, working and liaising with our staff to support your child.
We have a school psychologist onsite to work with all students and families as required.
